SHARING

One farmer had two sons. When the farmer died, the two sons separated. Big brother is clever and little brother is stupid.

 

The elder brother said to the younger brother, "Brother! We have a cow, it cannot be cut in two parts.

Since you are the younger brother, I will give you good part. So I will give you the front part. And I will take the back part of the cow."

 

The younger brother was very happy and said, OK. The younger brother brings grass from different places and feeds the cows.

On the other hand, the elder brother takes milk from the cow. He made ghee, butter, sweets etc from milk. He ate some of them and sold rest of them in the market.

One day a clever man said to the younger brother, 'You are a fool man, because you are giving food to the cow.

But you don't get anything from the cow.' He said, 'I have nothing to do now, I have agreed to his terms.' The man gave an advice to the younger brother. 

According to his advice, he next morning, while the elder brother was taking milk from the cow, the younger brother was hitting the head of the cow with a stick.

 

The cow was moving in fear then. Then the elder brother could not take milk from the cow.

The elder brother realized that someone has given wisdom to the younger brother. So he said to his younger brother, "I will give you half of the cow's milk from now.  

 

They had a date tree. The elder brother said to the younger brother, "First time you took part in front of the cow.

So this time I will give you the lower part of the tree. And I will take the upper part of the tree" 

 

The younger brother was very happy and said, OK. The younger brother give water to the date tree.

 

On the other hand, the elder brother takes the juice from the tree. He makes molasses, sugar, cakes etc from the juice. He ate some of them and sold rest of them in the market.

 

One day the cunning man came and said to the younger brother, "You are a fool man. You are giving water to the date tree.

But you don't get anything from the date tree." On the other hand, your older brother eats date, juice and sells it for money. The man gave an advice to the younger brother. 

The next day, the elder brother climbed the tree to get the juice. According to advice, then the younger brother started cutting the roots of the tree.

Then the elder brother realized that someone has  given knowledge to the younger brother. 

 

So he told his younger brother, "My brother, don't cut the tree, from now, we will work equally and share the profits equally."
