THE SWEETS

Three man from three countries have gone abroad together. One is Bangladeshi, one is Indian and one is Pakistani. Exhausted as they walked, they lay down under a banyan tree.

At that time a man brought some sweets and gave them as a gift. These three people were so hungry that no one would be satisfied if they shared some sweets.

So one of them said, Brother, I have an idea that the one who dreams best in his sleep will eat all the sweets. Everyone agreed and went to bed.

 

The Bangladeshi woke up in the middle of the night and quickly ate all the sweets. When they woke up in the morning, the three men asked each other, 'How  was their  dream?'

 

At first the Indian man said, Brother! I had a great dream. "I saw myself flying in the sky and standing at the top of the fourth sky. There was a heavenly man holding my hand and showing me many beautiful things."

 

Then the Pakistani man said, Brother! I dreamed better. "I saw a peacock come and put me on its wings and lead me to a mountain.Then he showed me different countries."

 

Then the Bangladeshi man said, "Brother! My dream is very bad." The Indian and Pakistani man said happily, "Brother, what kind of dream did you have?" 

   

Then the Bangladeshi man said, 'Brother! One monster came to me. Who held my neck and asked me. "If you don't eat sweets fast, then I'll kill you."

Fearing the monster, I woke up and quickly ate sweets.' Saying this, the Bangladeshi man showed the empty pot of sweets.

Indian and Pakistani man asked at the same time, "Why didn't you call us? We would get up and chase the monster."

The Bangladeshi man said, "How loudly I called the two. How can you hear my call, one of you was in the fourth sky, the other was in the mountains? How can my call go so far?"

 

Then the Indian and Pakistani people started looking at each other.
